•   A meeting between City Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz and World Health Organization representative Dr. Sigrun Roesel, DOH Regional EPI coordinator Monica Jennifer Victorino, Dr. Gigi Janeiro, PHO coordinator Wilma Eguaras, Maria Ave Brana, Edith Collantes, Hermingudo Torres Jr., and DOH Representative Marilou Jamih discussed the upcoming nationwide mass immunization of MR-OPV against measles and Polio for children age 0- to 59 months old for the whole month of September. The meeting was conferred last August 19, 2014 at the City Hall of San Pedro.
  •   In celebration of the 40th Nutrition Month, with the theme: “Kalamidad paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutisyon Agapan”, the daycare centers colorfully paraded along the streets of the city and concluded the program at the town plaza last August 15, 2014. City Health Office and City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) spearheaded the event that includes free dental check-up, cooking contests, and best in costume competition. 
San Pedro Dental Club also joined the celebration giving away free dental fluoridation for the daycare students.

Mata presented a check worth 6.2 Million to City Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz during the flag ceremony on Aug. 8, 2014 as part of the Grassroot Participatory Budgeting Process which aims to bring livelihood programs to hundreds of participants/beneficiaries to augment their family income and improve their quality of life.
Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz extends her gratitude to the national government for the assistance given to the citizens of San Pedro.

  •   Vice President Jejomar Binay lead the rites of the groundbreaking of Sto Sepulcro Shrine today, July 26, 2014 at Barangay landayan City of San Pedro. The momentous occasion started with a special mass presided by Diocese of San Pablo, Most Reverend Bishop Bueneventura Famadico. The historical event was graced by the presence of Gov. Ramil Hernandez, Vice Governor Katherine Agapay, San Pedro City Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz & Vice Mayor Raffy Campos, Binan City Mayor Len Alonte , City of Sta Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas, other officials of the local government and honorable guests.

Former Laguna Governor ER Ejercito along with his wife, Pagsanjan Mayor Maita Ejercito were also present on the significant event.
  •   FEEDING PROGRAM @ CENTRAL SCHOOL - Candidates, organizers and supporters fed more than 1,000 school children at San Pedro Central School at the City of San Pedro Laguna on July 25, 2014 with them were Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson, Movie Actor Cesar Montano and Former Mayor Calex Cataquiz, among others.
Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz expressed her deep appreciation and gratitude to the group during their courtesy call on the City hall.
  •   Vice President Jejomar Binay will lead the guests of honor in the groundbreaking rites of a New Home for Lolo Uweng at the Sto. Sepulcro Shrine in barangay Landayan. This event will be held on July 26, 2014, Saturday. 
Also expected to grace this historical event are Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez, Vice Governor Katherine Agapay, San Pedro City Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz, City of Binan Mayor Len Alonte and City of Santa Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas.
Diocese of San Pablo, Most Reverend Bishop Bueneventura Famadico and Vicar General Monsignor Mel Barcenas, will preside over the groundbreaking rites which will be preceded by a liturgical celebration at Santo Sepulcro Church at 8:00am.
  •  A Joint Survey Inspection was conducted by the officials of the city of San Pedro led by Administrator Filemon I. Sibulo and officers of private utility companies such as Meralco, PT&T, PLDT, SKYCABLE, GLOBE and ACEL Centre to indentify the wires and cables that obstruct passage through the footbridge along the National Highway in Pacita Complex Area.
Administrator Sibulo ordered the utility companies to immediately clear all the wires and cables within two weeks before the footbridge inauguration and formal opening to the public.

  •  Assessment Meeting for Typhoon Glenda

A meeting was conferred last July 22, 2014 at the Office of the Mayor, Cityhall of San Pedro to assess the aftermath result of the Typhoon Glenda. It was attended by City Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz, Former Mayor Calixto R. Cataquiz, City Administrator Filemon Sibulo, Executive Assistant Aaron Cataquiz, Brgy. Captains & Representatives, DILG Head Jennifer Quirante and Department Representatives of CSWD and PAIO.
The meeting mainly focused on the condition of the 20 barangays of the City. Barangay representatives gave their reports on the repercussions of the typhoon Glenda. A discussion on continuous preparation, monitoring and dissemination of information for an upcoming disasters or calamities were also recommended throughout the session. The meeting was said to become a regular session in order to examine and at the same time prepare precautionary measures to empower each barangay to face any calamities that may occur.

The design and construction of the fabricated footbridges along the National Highway in Barangay Nueva and Pacita Complex Area in San Pedro, Laguna was planned in response to a clamor to have such facilities constructed due to the increasing number of vehicular accidents. The project was issued to proceed on March 27, 2014 to ease heavy traffic situation on the said areas.
The City Government notified all utility companies concerned – Meralco, PLDT, PT&T, Sky Cable, Globe Telecom, and San Pedro Water District, etc- to clear the impacted areas of any aerial and underground obstructions which they respectively have in the area.
  •    First Inter-Department Basketball Competition (10 photos)
[ADMIN - 01] First Inter-Department Basketball Competition kicked off last Friday, June 27, 2014. 10 Teams from different Cityhall Department joined the competition to display sportsmanship, to promote physical, mental, social and emotional health and wellness and strengthen government employees’ relationship. This event is supported by City Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz and Councilors.
  •    The seminar on common skin diseases and leprosy was held last June 17-18, 2014 at the City hall of San Pedro it was facilitated by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine and headed by Dr. Teresita G. Gabriel MD, FPDS-Chairman, Department of Dermatology . One of the objectives of the project is to promote skin health awareness in the community with skin problems.

    Disaster preparedness. - City Administrator Filemon I. Sibulo gave a message about the necessity of being aware of the safety procedures to be observed in the event of an earthquake during an orientation meeting attended by city officials and employees, schools officials and students and other concerned sectors of the city.

    Seminar ginanap para sa community-based screening ng minor skin disease at leprosy - Isang seminar na tumuon sa screening ng pangkaraniwang sakit sa balat at ketong na pinangunahan ng mga doktor mula sa Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) ang ginanap noong Hunyo 17-18 2014 sa Pavilion Hall ng City Hall ng San Pedro.

    Palengke Watch. Si City Administrator Filemon Sibulo ay pinangunahan ang pagbubukas ng seminar ng Palengke Watch na dinaluhan ng mga meat dealers at meat vendors, market masters at supervisors, slaughterhouse supervisors at local government units..

    PWF GRANT. Si City Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz at SPTI Administrator Dominador Marmeto tangan ang tseke mula sa Philippine Women's Foundation para sa scholarship assessment ng mga trainers at training materials para sa Automotive Service ng SPTI.

    WATER REFILLING STATION. Pinasinayaan ni Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz noong ika-30 ng Hunyo 2014 ang proyektong water refilling station ng SPRACCI sa Brgy. United Bayanihan na mula sa pondong pinagkaloob ng Department of Labor and Employment. .
